Being Influential for Good in the Lives of Others

In 1 Corinthians 9, Paul teaches the gospel to others around him.The same way we also can preach the gospel to those around us. In my life I have been greatly blessed to learn about the gospel. My family and I were baptized when I was 11 years old in 2001. We have been so blessed since then, and we continue to be blessed throughout our lives.I am so grateful for missionary work around the world. We also can be missionaries in many ways for example by sharing our testimonies and even just being an example to others. We should seek missionary opportunities daily and not be afraid to share the gospel. You truly never know when you can change the life of others.

That is where my family and I were also sealed for eternity in 2002 a year after being baptized.

Religion Post

This weeks reading for Religion was Acts 16-20, I Cor 1-3 and 1 and 2 Thess. I really enjoyed this week's reading. I was able to learn a great amount from 1 Thessalonians. This chapter focused on perfecting what we lack in our faith. It is our duty to keep our faith strong. I am so blessed to have the gospel in my life where I have learned the importance of faith. Something I have focused on is how Heavenly Father has given us trials to help our faith grow. Our faith can be tested at times but it is for our own good! I have a couple experiences that has helped strengthen my faith, and I am so thankful and grateful for that!

President Eyring said, "It is never too late to strengthen the foundation of faith. There is always time. With faith in the Savior, you can repent and plead for forgiveness. There is someone you can forgive. There is someone you can thank. There is someone you can serve and lift. You can do it wherever you are and however alone and deserted you may feel.
"I cannot promise an end to your adversity in this life. I cannot assure you that your trials will seem to you to be only for a moment. One of the characteristics of trials in life is that they seem to make clocks slow down and then appear almost to stop."
